Bellingrath Gardens and Home to Host 13th Annual Camellia Classic Car Show

Bellingrath Gardens and Home will host the 13th Annual Camellia Classic Car Show on Saturday, April 1, 2006. Sponsored by the Mobile Bay Mustang Club, the show will feature approximately 300 various antique and vintage automobiles including a Model T, Firebird and a 1965 Mustang Convertible. Admission hours are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and show hours at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Sarasota Film Festival

The 10-day Sarasota Film Festival which has grown into one of the leading film festivals in North America, will take place in the Gulf Coast resort city of Sarasota, Florida from March 29th through April 10th. This year film enthusiasts can expect a lineup of feature films and documentaries representing the works of filmmakers from 19 countries.

Among the great filmmakers and special guests expected in for the Festival are Chevy Chase, Mary Badham, Felicity Huffman, Allison Janney, Penelope Ann Miller, Jason Ritter, Gene Simmons, and many more.

Beulah Sausage Festival - 40,000 People can't be Wrong

That's right, over 40,000. That's how many people turned out last year for the 19th annual. It's sure to be a record year for this year's 20th annual Beulah Sausage Festival this weekend.

Each year the good people of the Beulah Volunteer Fire Department hold their annual sausage festival to raise funds in support of community fire protection. They're proud of their fine event, which focuses on providing clean and wholesome family entertainment featuring live country music from some of Nashville

Riverwalk Art Festival this Weekend in Milton

Florida panhandle vacationers this weekend might want to take in the 18th annual Riverwalk Art Festival. The festival will run on Saturday, March 11th from 10 am through 5 pm and on Sunday, March 12th, from 11 am through 5 pm. The festival is held each year in historic downtown Milton, FL on the banks of the scenic Blackwater River at Riverwalk, South Willing Street.

See over 80 artists' work in oil / acrylic and watercolor. There will be works in ceramic and sculpture. Expect to find photography and jewelry, as well as mixed media and other fine crafts in weaving, fabric, leather, wood, baskets and glass. You'll see and hear musicians and dance groups perform. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many food kiosks.

What better excuse do you need to go off your diet? Eating for a good cause.

Not being particularly good at the BBQ grill myself, events like this are just too good to pass up. Cheese, meat and a bun. It's hard to believe the properly prepared combination of three simple ingredients can be so good. Mark down March 11th on your calendar. The Cheeseburger in Paradise Cook-Off is definitely a must event.

The Gulf Coast Relay for Life will host the 2006 Cheeseburger in Paradise Cook-Off, in conjunction with the Pleasure Island Art Association's Festival of Art, at the Orange Beach Waterfront Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 11.
