Winter of '06 is drawing to a close. With spring comes the annual migration.

Birders of all stripes flock to Florida this time of year to witness the event and welcome our feathered friends home for another year.

To get you started on your bird watcher's journey to paradise, here are a couple of links with great information for Gulf Coast birders. The first is a link to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission pages on birding in Florida. The second is the Great Florida Birding Trail, a 2000-mile trail "designed to conserve and enhance Florida's bird habitat by promoting birdwatching activities, environmental education and economic opportunity."
