New Condo Units Planned for Orange Beach and Gulf Shores

The Colonnades condos under construction in December-05The Gulf Coast real estate market continues to expand and grow, giving vacationers, retirees, prospective vacation property owners and real estate investors plenty to choose from in nearly every market.

According to an article in today's Mobile Register, the Alabama Gulf Coast Convention & Visitors Bureau says a total of 1,244 new Gulf Shores and Orange Beach condo units are schedule to open in 2006.

Here is a quick overview of the 11 developments currently underway and scheduled to open this year:

  • The Phoenix All Suites West opened 84 Gulf Shores condo units in early January
  • The Colonnades is a luxury Gulf Shores condo tower scheduled to open with 53 units in May. Three-bedroom, 4-bedroom, and penthouse level units will be located directly on the beach front side of East Beach Boulevard. The Colonnades will feature a fully equipped fitness center, private owner
