Condo developer John D. Hunter, Jr.'s "Capri 1" Dauphin Island condo proposal is very close to securing the financing he needs to move ahead with development.
The Capri 1 is a 26 unit complex proposed for Dauphin Island. All of the luxury condos are located on the beach front and incorporate the latest in upgraded features - high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, granite, and ice maker in the wet bar area and jetted tub and marble shower in the master bath.
Two bedroom, two bath units contain 1199 sq-ft of living space plus a 15ft x 12ft balcony. Three bedroom, three bath units have nearly 1500 sq-ft with an additional 2 ft of balcony length, with the added view coming from their location on the ends of the building.
The 7th floor penthouses are four-bedroom, 4 bath units in 2682 sq-ft.
With approximately 15 of the total 26 units sold, Capri 1 is only a handful of sales away from securing construction financing.
